بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

Surah Fatihah English Translation

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds –
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
Guide us to the straight path –
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

Surah Al Fatiha (The Opening) is the first Surah of the Quran Its verses are a prayer for God’s guidance and stress the Lordship and Mercy of God. The Surah Al Fatiha has a special role in our daily prayers (Salah), being recited at the beginning of each Rakat of the prayer. there are 7 ayats (verses) in surah Fatiha,

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ(۱) الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِۙ(۲) مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِؕ(۳) اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُؕ(۴) اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَۙ(۵) صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ ﴰ غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ۠(۷)

Surah Al Fatiha Urdu with English Translation:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful:
اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان رحم والا

  • All Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Universe
  • سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جو مالک سارے جہان والوں کا
  • The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
  • بہت مہربان رحمت والا
  • Owner of the Day of Judgement.
  • روزِ جزاء کا مالک
  • You alone do we worship, and You alone we turn to for help
  • ہم تجھی کو پوجیں اور تجھی سے مدد چاہیں
  • Guide us to the straight path;
  • ہم کو سیدھا راستہ چلا
  • The path of those on whom you have bestowed your grace,
  • راستہ اُن کا جن پر تُو نے احسان کیا
  • not (the way) of those who have earned your anger, nor of those who went astray.
